Dear Students,
The Department of Avionics has undertaken the task of training qualified aircraft maintenance personnel needed by the aviation industry since 1989, when it started to give its first graduates. Our department, with its existing technical infrastructure, expert academic and technical instructor staff, continues to be the first and pioneer in providing aviation electricity and electronics education at the undergraduate level.
It is among our primary goals that the students of our department have the professional knowledge and skills to work in national and international aircraft maintenance organizations, and make a difference in the institutions they start to work as individuals who constantly learn and improve themselves.
The human factor and, in parallel, the quality of the training received by industry employees such as pilots, air traffic controllers and aircraft maintenance personnel is extremely important in ensuring the highest level of flight safety in the aviation industry. In this context, it is one of the most important elements of the healthy development of the aviation industry due to the competencies and qualifications of our graduates. We proudly witness that our graduates have made significant contributions to the airline companies and maintenance organizations they work for, and have come to managerial positions. I believe that by completing your education with the same motivation, you will represent our faculty and department in the best way in the sector, and I wish you success in your education and in your business life afterwards.
